photo is thought to feature the Wilson, Tivey and Meredith
families who resided in Derby early 1900's. Thanks to Ian and
Pauline Plackett for this photograph. If you have any further

me. It is thought that the elderly lady is Sarah Ann Dunford
1866 in Swayfield, Lincolnshire. She married John William
Meredith and had four children with him before he died in 1892 -
Arthur John Meredith, Florence Ann Meredith, Ada Ellen Meredith
and Albert James Meredith (husband of Ada Tivey) Sarah then
remarried to Frank Wilson and they had several children
too - Rose Wilson, John Robert F Wilson, Hilda Wilson, George
Wilson, Annie Wilson, Ethel Sarah J Wilson and Frank Wilson.
This could be Sarah, photographed with some of her older
children or grandchildren. |
