| Sarah was the eldest daughter of Frank Tivey and Eliza Tabberer. She married Joseph Whetton at St Chad's Church, Derby in 1903. They had seven children before her husband was tragically killed in France 1918. They were Joseph Whetton (1904-1980), Margaret Whetton (m. James Phillips), Gertrude Whetton (1907-1976), Violet May Whetton (m. Harry Allen), Herbert Frank Whetton (m. Doris Maud Walker), Ada Whetton (m. Robert Henry Frith) and the youngest was Albert H Whetton (m. Ethel Salt). Thanks to Ian and Pauline Plackett for this photo. |
