This photo was kindly donated to the site by Cathy Priestly and features Ruby Rebecca Green (nee Tivey). Ruby was a twin daughter of Alfred Tivey and Eliza Ann White. She and her twin Pearl Rosa Tivey were born 1879 in the Manaro region of New South Wales. Tragically her sister Pearl Rosa drowned in December 1880 after she fell into the Kybean River close to her parents home (CLICK HERE FOR NEWS ARTICLE) Ruby married Samuel Green and had 5 children who survived infancy. She was known as Tosti to her close friends and relatives. Thanks for the pic Cathy!
