features Tivey family members from Group 6 (our line) The head of the family is Joseph Tivey 1873-1952, his wife is Rose Mary Bennett (seated) 1878-1927. Joseph was born in Burton On Trent, Staffordshire to Joseph Tivey and Sarah Frogson. Children left to right, Sarah Tivey 1902 (who married Ernest Alfred Eyden), Edna Tivey (who married George Thomas Roulstone) 1914, Joseph Tivey, a World War II hero who died in a Japanese prison camp during the war (married Blanche Brindley) 1899-1945 and Lilian Mary Tivey (who married James Wales Watson) 1917-1973. |
