| These pretty little girls are from Group 8 Looks like
the one on the right has decided she isnt wearing her hat and
thrown it on the ground! She is
Charlotte Gladys Alma Tivey (Known as
Gladys) born 1897 in Shepshed Leicestershire and one of her
cousins. This photograph was very kindly donated to the site by Hilary Woods. Gladys married Charley Hall in 1918 and had two children - Prudence May Tivey (Hall) - her father was away at war when her birth was registered and her parents married on her father's return, and a son Charles Eric Hall who was born in 1921 and sadly died during World War II. |
