| This picture was taken in New South Wales, Australia in the 1950's and features Francis Tivey (1871-1961) and his wife Mabel Lansdell Elphick (1876-1972) Francis was born in Cooma NSW Australia, to parents Alfred Tivey and Eliza Ann White. His grandfather Samuel Tivey, was born in Melbourne, Derbyshire in 1814. He and his wife Phoebe Wild emigrated to Australia in 1847. Mabel's Father Samuel George Elphick was also a British subject, he was born in Kent in 1836. Mabel & Francis lived in the town of Nimmitabel in New South Wales, and had at least 3 children, Elfreda May, Frank L and Jack N Tivey.
