Marriage solemnized at the   Baptist  Chapel of Melbourne in the District of Shardlow in the County of Derby leicester & Notts. Fourteenth October 1893 Harry Houghton, 23 years, Bachelor, Boot Finisher of Blanch Croft, Son of William Houghton, Pressman Stone Trade. Fanny Tivey, Spinster, Aged 23 years,  of Melbourne, Daughter of Arthur Tivey, Joiner. Witnesses Leonard Tivey and Elizabeth Tivey.

Fanny Tivey, born 1869 in Melbourne, Derbyshire was the daughter of Arthur Tivey and Mary Ann Pipes of Group 9. Harry Houghton was also born in the same town to parents William Houghton and Elizabeth Harris. Harry is the great grandson of Lydia Tivey (1788-1866)  and John Houghton (1788-1857)
