Swindlehurst, wife of Aubrey Swindlehurst nee Marshall was the
daughter-in-law of Mark Swindlehurst and Emily Gertrude Staples.
Emily was born 1863 in Nottinghamshire, England, the daughter of
George Staples and Eliza Tivey. Emily's son Aubrey who was born
in Lancashire, married Eva (Marshall) 1918 in Wayne, Michigan.
He had emigrated to Canada in 1913 and moved over to the states
1915c. The couple had several children - Donald D Swindlehurst,
Russell L Swindlehurst, Robert Staples Swindlehurst, Aubrey
James Swindlehurst and James Swindlehurst. Eva was buried at
Maple Grove Cemetery, Elk Rapids, Antrim, Michigan in 1988. |
