Ellen Myra Tivey was the fourth child of Alfred Tivey and Eliza Ann White, she was born in Cooma, New South Wales 1875. In 1894 she married Richard James Elphick and 7 Children followed. These were Gordon Leslie Elphick, Irene Melva Elphick, Elma Gladys Elphick, Olive Nildra Elphick, Ida Maude Elphick, Myra Marie Winifred Elphick and Kathleen May Elphick. Ellen died in 1945 in Taree.
