Ellen-Amelia-Tivey-(Elliot)

| This picture was taken in New South Wales, Australia and Ellen Amelia Tivey (1853-1946) She was born to Samuel Tivey and Phoebe Wild (e) 5 years after they emigrated from the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire area in England to New South Wales, Australia. In 1881 she married Robert Newton Elliot, who was born in County Durham and had emigrated with his parents Robert and Margaret (nee Sutton). The couple had 7 children and lived in Bombala, Ashfield and later Sydney. Their children were:- Ethel Sutton Elliot (1882-1915 m Felix James Kirk) Blanche Wadsworth Elliot (1883-1907) Victor George Elliot (1885-90) Roberta Margaret Elliot (1887-1941 m. George Brownlow Clerk) Nellie Amy Elliot 1889-1972- also married Felix Kirk), Robert Bruce Elliot (1891-1916 WWI) and Clive Elliot (1897-1963 m.
