Book' Lawrence Francis Tivey
(Frank) of Group 20 and his wife
Dorothy Campbell Hull. Frank
was the one who did the original research in the 1960's and
1970's into the various branches of the Tivey family. Frank was born 4 May 1921 in Highbridge Somerset and spent and had a prosperous career as a civil servant. He was awarded an OBE for his services to the government and received his award from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. He spent many years trawling through census returns and searching Birth, Marriage and Death records compiling information on the various Tivey Lines.
