This photo features Annie Tivey who was born c1862 Moles Station, Nimmitabel, in the Monaro district of New South Wales, Australia. She was the daughter of Harriet Tivey and granddaughter to Samuel and Phoebe Tivey who emigrated from Nottinghamshire to Australia in 1848. In 1885 she married William Herbert Harris in Nobby Park, Bemboka. She and William had 6 children - Ann Letitia Maria Harris (1885) Ernest Joseph Harris (1887) Herbert Lawrence Harris (1889) Ethel Mary Harris (1892) Louisa Rose Harris (1894) and lastly Alma Lily May Harris who was born 22 June 1899, sadly Annie died due to childbirth complications 8 days later. This photgraph was donated to the site, along with lots of information by Daphne Jerabek who is Annie's great granddaughter. Big thanks to Daph!
