Entry No 126, June 27th, Thomas Tivey, aged 29, Bachelor, Occupation Joiner, Residence Melbourne; Father’s name William Tivey, Occupation Mechanic; Fanny Tetley aged 20 Spinster, Residence Ashby; Father William Tetley, Occupation Farmer Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church by Banns by Retford Hind, Curate This Marriage was solemnized between Us Thomas Tivey (signed) and Fanny Tetley (by X her mark) in the presence of Us Jos Tetley and Elizabeth Litherland (both signed); Thomas and Fanny had 11 children and adopted one other. They residied in Coalville and are from Group 4. Thomas was the son of Sarah Salisbury and William Tivey.
