Lydia Tivey Born 1788

Lydia Tivey, thougt to be the 2nd eldest daughter (surviving) and 4th child  of Mary Fairbrother and Edward Tivey, married John Houghton in Melbourne, Derbyshire 15th October 1808: I have listed a brief outline of her tree as her descendants are listed in greater detail elsewhere on the site, but if you require further information then please contact me.
Children of Lydia Tivey (School Mistress) and John Houghton (there may be others not yet discovered). Lydia died in Burton Upon Trent, Staffordshire, her daughter Jane was residing  on the same street as John Tivey's (Lydia's brother) daughter Mary (Wilkins) and it is thought Lydia lived with her daughter after the death of her husband John. Mary Wilkins (nee Tivey) was the informant on Lydia's death certificate.

William was the father of 6 children and some of them and their descendants married other Tivey family members from Melbourne, thus the Tivey's and Houghtons were quite inter-mingled!

John married two sisters firstly Mary Aucott and then her sister Jane Chadburn (nee Aucott) who were both from Castle Donington.

John & Mary had the following children:
