The medals belonged to Horace Leonard Tivey of  Group 4. Horace was born in Coalville, Leicestershire in 1887 - the son on William Tivey and Harriett Watson.

In 1910 he married Betsy Carter (1884-1956) and his daughter Maud Carter Tivey soon followed in 1911.

Big thankyou to Peter Walker (Son of Maud)  who not only kindly sent the photos of the team & medals and the information of the league table etc,  but also has been immense help in providing oodles of information and documentation for Group 4.  A great genealogy buddy,  of mine,  Peter is Horace's grandson. Cheers Peter!
