Jane Tivey (Hadden, Corah) of Shepshed

This rather sweet granny is Jane Tivey born in
Shepshed, Leicestershire to parents John Tivey and Ann
Heatherley in 1831.
Jane married twice - firstly to
John Hadden with whom she mothered three
sons, one surviving infancy -
John Thomas Hadden 1856-1937. Her second
husband was Charles Corah
who she married in 1857 after John Hadden's
death. Jane & Charles had the following children - Sarah Ann
1860, Charles 1864, John 1867, Joseph 1869, Elizabeth 1873 and
Mary Jane 1875. Jane died in Belton, Leicestershire in 1912; at
the time of the 1911 census, she was residing with her daughter
Mary Jane (Hickling) in Church Street, Belton. Many thanks to

grandson of Mary Jane Corah's daughter Lizzie. May I also say a
