Isaac-TiveyIsaac Tivey was born 1833 in Birmingham, Warwickshire  to parents Isaac  Tivey, a Tailor by trade (1803-1871) and Phebe Morris (1805-1874) who married in Burton Upon on Trent 1826.    Isaac had 7 siblings, the eldest was William Tivey (1827-1892) followed by  his eldest sister Mary Ann Tivey (Mrs Henry Vickers Mayer 1829-1911 ), next was Henry who sadly died before he reached the age of ten, then Elizabeth Tivey (Mrs William Daniel Wright 1836-1906)  then came Francis in 1838 who had 7 children with his legal wife then fled to America with another companion  producing another 5 children, he died in Hartford Connecticut 1899. His next to youngest brother was James Tivey (1841-1881) followed by the youngest John Kingswood Tivey who spent several years in Scotland, his family was well travelled which was quite unusual for that era. Like his father before him Isaac was a Tailor by profession, in 1855 he married his first wife Letitia Moon in Cosely Staffs,  they separatedand the marriage must have been annulled, by 1861 they both live separately with their parents, both listed as "married" by 1866 Letitia married again, Isaac was residing with  Elizabeth Regan (b. 1831 Birmingham) from around 1862 in Westminster, London, she is listed as Tivey in the 1871 census but they only actually married in 1879, their son Isaac James Tivey was born in 1863 Westminster.  Isaac died in Westminster 1882 aged 49 years.
