George is from Group 9. He was born 1861 in Ashby de la Zouch,
Leicestershire, the son of Leonard Tivey and his wife Susan Noble.
They had thirteen children - nine of them surviving infancy - two more perished in WWI fighting for King and country - Leonard Noble Tivey and Edgar Henry Tivey - they are remebered with honour on the town's war memorial.
