After Banns ** NOTE: Her father was not William Tivey, Mechanic, she made this up to cover the embarrassment of being illegitimate, William was her brother's name.
Frances who was also known as Fanny, was born 1837 to Elizabeth Tivey of Group 10. I have the following notes on her:
BIRTH: 1837c Frances is listed as being 4 years old on the 1841
census, 14 on the 1851 Census, at marriage in 1862 she was listed as
being 25 years old. She was the illegitimate daughter of Elizabeth
Tivey
1841 census Frances is with her great-grandparents the
Edwards family at Roper's Hill Farm in Staunton Harold,
Leicestershire. She also has a brother with her named William, 2
years old. Frances Tivey aged 4. Her great great grandmother Frances
Edwards nee Shakespear is also residing at the farm aged 88
