Frances-Tivey-and-Joseph-Pickering-Marriage-Register
Frances Tivey was the daughter of John Tivey and Ann Edwards of our line, Group 6. She was born 1814 in Melbourne, Derbyshire but spent her early years in the village of Worthington, Leicestershire. She married Joseph Pickering at Breedon on the Hill Parish Church 14th May 1835. She was widowed in 1847 and in 1859 she married grocer and Miller James Franks of Shepshed. Frances lived in Whitwick Leicestershire and had 5 children with Joseph. She is buried at the church were she married Joseph, in the next grave to her sister Jane (Frearson).
