Marriage of ELizabeth-Tivey-and-John-Allt-At Breedon-on-the-Hill

The above is an early marriage licence sought in 1759 featuring Elizabeth Tivey and John Allt (Alt Ault) Elizabeth was born in Melbourne, Derbyshire to parents Thomas Tivey and Jane Johnson in 1735, her parents married in the same church of Breedon on the Hill. John was a Tailor and they had several children Mary (m. William Wardle) born in Melbourne 1759, Elizabeth (Mason) and Thomas, The Allt Family had generations of Parish Clerks at Breedon on the Hill.
