Alice Maud was the daughter of Reuben Tivey and his wife Sarah Ann Thompson. Alfred and Alice had one son Alfred William Elliott in 1908. Alice's husband died before 1922, possibly in 1916 in Derby - she was only 35 when she died herself in 1922 but she is listed as a Widow in the cemetery register.
