Ada was the illegitimate daughter of Ann Tivey, (daughter of Joseph Tivey and Hannah Cutts - The Hertfordshire Family) she probably stated that her father was named Henry to hide the fact that she was illegitimate. Her mother died when she was very young, at birth she was actually named Ann but later was known as Ada or Ada Ann. She and John had 1 child Joseph John Overton.
